cancellations. SHERATON
CENTRE TORONTO: The Sheraton Centre Toronto is the headquarters hotel for Evaluation
2005 and is located at 123 Queen Street West, Toronto, Ontario, Canada. All
conference sessions and workshops will take place at the Sheraton. The
discounted conference rate is $215 CAD for a standard single or double
room or $275 CAD for a room on the club level. The approximate rates
converted to US dollars are $175 US and $225 US respectively, although
the actual rate depends on the currency exchange. One may upgrade to
the club level for $60 CAD per night that includes access to the club
lounge with appetizers in the evening and breakfast each morning.
You
may book
your stay at the Sheraton Centre, by calling 1-888-627-7175 from Canada or the US or
1-416-361-1000 internationally. You will be asked to provide one
night's deposit to secure the reservation. Should your plans change,
please note that this deposit is refundable if notice is received at
least seventy-two hours prior to arrival and a cancellation number is
obtained. Be sure to identify yourself as with the American
Evaluation Association.

TORONTO: Due
to the high level of demand at the Sheraton Centre, the Hilton
Toronto has been designated as the official overflow hotel for Evaluation
2005. The Hilton Toronto is located at 145
Richmond Street West, Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and is right around the
corner from the Sheraton Centre. This beautiful, award-winning hotel is
offering Evaluation 2005 attendees a special discounted rate of $199.00
CAD for a single or double room. The approximate rate converted to US
dollars is $160 US, although the actual rate depends on the currency
exchange at the time of booking. You

Transportation:
Pearson Intl Airport-Sheraton Center:
Toronto
Pearson International Airport (TPIA) is located 27 km (16 miles)
north-west of downtown Toronto and within the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).
The airport has been Toronto’s main international airport since 1939
when it was first known as Malton Airport. There are many ways to
travel between Toronto Pearson International Airport and the Sheraton
Centre - by car, public transit, inter-city buses or taxis and
limousines. Ground transportation information counters can be found on
the Arrivals level of Terminals 2 & 3, and at Terminal 1 on the
Ground level.
Methods
of Transportation:

Public
Transit: The Toronto Transit Commission (TTC)
runs transportation to and from Pearson International. Travel
between the Sheraton Center and Pearson International via the
TTC requires taking both a bus and a subway for a total of two
transfers. From the airport take the TTC
- 192 Airport Rocket (bus) to Kipling Station on
the Bloor-Danforth Subway. Then take the Bloor-Danforth Subway
East to St George station and transfer to the Young-University-Spadina
Subway South to Queen St Station. From Queen St Station
walk west on Queen St for 1 block. The Sheraton Center is
located at 123 Queen St West.

TTC
- 192 Airport Rocket: Buses stop at Terminal 3
(Departures Level), Terminal 2 (Arrivals Level) and Terminal
1 (Ground level). Service operates from approximately 5:30
a.m. to 2:00 a.m., seven days a week with busses departing
every 15-40 minutes. One-way travel time to the subway is
approximately 20 minutes.

TTC
Fares: Adult cash fare is 2.50 CAD, and can be paid on the bus. *Please Note*
When
you pay your fare, you will need to ask the driver for a
"Transfer" which will allow you to switch to the
subway at Kipling Station.

for the best views!

Total
travel time from the airport to the hotel is
approximately 1 hour.

Shuttle:
The Pacific Western
Airport Express (Airport to Downtown Toronto Service)
operates every 20 minutes during peak periods and every 30
minutes during off-peak periods, and stops at several major
downtown hotels including the Sheraton Centre. It picks up on the Arrivals Level of all terminals.
All buses are wheelchair accessible and also have front kneeling
doors for easier access. This is a 24 hour service. *Please
Note* The Sheraton Centre does not have it's own
shuttle.

CAD
round-trip. Student/Senior fare is 14.00 CAD
one-way and 26.75 CAD round-trip. Tickets can be
purchased from the bus driver or you can purchase your
tickets online prior to your trip and receive a 10% discount
at: http://www.torontoairportexpress.com.

Taxis
and Limousines: Taxis and limousines can be obtained at
any of the the
airport's Ground
Transportation Centers located on the Arrivals level of Terminals 2 &
3, and at Terminal 1 on the Ground level. Total travel time is
approximately 40 minutes.

Driving
to the Sheraton Center:

Traveling from Lester
B Pearson International Airport:
Take Highway 401 East to Highway 427 South. Proceed to Queen Elizabeth Way
and then head east to Gardner Expressway. Exit at York Street and proceed
north to Queen Street.

Traveling from the North:
Take Highway 400 to
Highway 401. Go east to Don Valley Parkway and then south and exit at
Richmond Street. Head west on Richmond Street to York Street. Turn
right on York Street and then right onto Queen Street.

Traveling from the South:
Take Queen Elizabeth Way to Gardner Expressway, and exit onto York
Street. Then go north to Queen Street.

Parking:
The
Sheraton Centre parking garage costs 33.00 CAD per day. There
is a Municipal Parking (Carpark 36 - Nathan Phillips Square Garage) across
the street from the hotel. The cost is 13.00 CAD per day,
Monday-Friday.
